What's next for The Journey?

Over the past year, we've been hard at work updating the visuals of the game, and figuring out what we want the game to look like in the future. This went from updating the older OG Levels and creating new levels. However, as many of you would have noticed, we still have not released a single level from the full game yet. We've also introduced Mappacks, a new way to introduce new experimental levels that may or may not have ideas that get transferred into the full game.

Well, now that we have the backing set up, we're ready to show you what we've been working on this whole time. The main game levels have gone through many different versions throughout this year, and currently, we have 7 levels done, but we are proud of what we've created so far.

We're building up for the full release of the game next year, but we just want to let you know everything we have in the works (It's not everything, but it's a decent chunk)

• At least 12 Mappacks of 8 levels (or more) in length.
• Hard Mode/Easy Mode
• New Title Screen
• 8 Worlds of Main Game (4 or more levels in each)
• 8 Worlds of Post Game (4 or more levels in each)
• Side Games
• Skin Packs

And that's just a taste.

These updates will roll out, leading up to Version 2.0, which will be the full version of the game. We would hope to roll things out by having 1 update a month, but we can't promise that. We definitely will have 1.4 out by next month though. That will include Worlds 1-3 of the Main Game, 1 new Mappack, and (hopefully) The Hard/Easy Mode.
